Autocad Clone Full 699 Price

I have a strong background in an older version Corel Draw on Windows, and trainingexperience as a mechanical draftsman.

Im considering getting the latest Corel Draw and Corel Cad for Mac.

One of the prerequisites is that its simple enough to have other office personnel use it for updatestweaking of installation drawings.

I really dont need 3D renderings, 2D floor plans and rack wiring diagrams would be great.

So are there any other basic Autocad clones out there that will run on a Mac I should consider.

Its still a little rough but works great for 2D architectural type drawings.

Has been ported to Mac, Win and Linux of course (Its in the DebianUbuntu repositories).

I use real AutoCAD at work all the time and ProgeCAD is nearly identical.

The Mac version is here: The free, home use only version is Windows only.

The other versions have a 30 day free trial.

It appears that since Im a teacher who can use it in a classroom, I can get the educational version of Corel Cad for 29 instead of 699.
